“As I didn’t know which roof painting company that would do a good job, so I searched the Google and found Reliant roof service had 5 start comments initially. However, the outcome of my roof paint work didn't match the other reviewer in Google. There are a couple of things that I am not happy with even though I paid the market price to have the professional to paint my iron roof in December of 2024. The reasons are below. 1. My roof has a lot of places being stepped down after the paint work. Refer to the pictures. I deduct one start on this matter. 2. The washers of screws weren’t replaced even I advised the team to replace them. They simply unscrewed the screws and removed the old washers then put the screws back. They did this approach before the painting work and it was hard to spot this issue when I initially checked the painting work what they had done. As the rain/water would get into the house without a washer to seal the gap, this is why I deduct two start from this issue. I had to buy the new screws with washer from Bunnings to replace them. The reason why I replaced them by myself? Because I didn't trust the people who did the work like this... you never know any funnier things may be happened if I called them to replace the washer again. 3. There were a lot of leaves and rubbish that stayed inside the gutter. I was wondering why they weren't clean at the same time when the roof was washing initially. Some leaves stuck on the edge of iron roof after the painting work. I attempted to remove the leaves which were stuck on the roof after the paint was dry, but the surrounding paint was peeling off. I had to ask the team to get some touch up paint to fix the peeling off spots. For this problem, I had to deduct one start as well. This is the reason why I gave 2 start for this service. Despite the above things, I am happy with the repair on one of the butynol and general paint work. Hopefully, the butynol can last longer.”
