“Project was new bathtub, new vanity new toilet new kitchen sink and tap for kitchen. I was doing demolition myself advisee Mike where new item go into the bathroom rearranged based on my needs. Living in Auckland I wasnt at the house when plumbing started. Got to the house after lunchtime found plumber inside had already completed the plumbing was identical as before.(not what I asked for) He confirmed with Mike I was right so he had to change all the plumbing. Who paid for the wasted time? Me! Vanity base included 2 drawers, waste pipe got installed to low didnt allow drawers to close. Got told will be done a later stage, never turned up hired a new company to complete this job including installing a the kitchen sink and tap they refused installing saying "we dont do that as plumber in case kitchen bench gets damaged" got confirmed by all tradies around the house thats what plumbers do daily .... obviously MD plumbing dont Asked for a modern look toilet sent an image from a toilet in Bunnings just as example at what I am looking at. Got exactly the same toilet installed what was in the house prior to project. Bathtub was free standing, in any common sense language free standing its free standing you dont install it against the wall to look like a sloppy job. Surprise they did. I got blamed not mentioning I will get a free standing one. Bathroom vanity got installed without checking are the drawers fully opening ? Of course not, so who had to fix this ? Me of course going to ask another company to cut the drawers on side shorter to fit into the amazing plumbing job completed by MD plumbing. Shower mixer and shower head was never asked what design color shape I want, just got something standard installed without even having a chance to reject it. Same with vanity mixer again no consultation just got a stand one installed. While I'm completing this review, I get threatened of small tribunal its my fault now for not stopping the job in time If you are smart you will never pick this company ever for anything thats all I can advise anyone thinking to do any jobs Adding more today 17/06/23 they installed the shower in sloppy job what caused damage behind the linen and it's getting fixed. The dry wall has to be replaced . I will definitely take legal actions against these animals cowboy builders”

“I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this plumbing company. When I contacted them about a blocked sink on a Saturday, they sent over a technician who was dressed very unprofessionally. To my astonishment, he didn't have any proper tools and resorted to using an empty ice cream container to scoop out water. After his intervention, he assured me the issue was resolved. However, by Sunday, the blockage was still evident. I had no choice but to call them again. Though the problem was fixed on their second visit, the billing issue became another headache. I was told since I'm renting, the bill would go to my agency. Yet weeks later, I received a bill charging me for both visits, despite their initial ineffectiveness. When I reached out, I was informed that my agency wouldn't cover the cost and I was responsible for the appalling service on both occasions. I strongly advise against using this company.”

“Leaking hot water cistern over a school holiday weekend when I had family up hence no hot water. Panic. Didn't know how long I would have to wait to get the job fixed. An amazing team fixed the problem first thing on the Monday starting with Gary & Ben Thomas - 7.30am dismantling the shelving blocking the cistern so the plumber would have easy access. Craig from MD Plumbing came at 9.15am to install a new cistern. An hour after Craig had left Zach Hodge/Electrician came to do the electrical part. Gary & Ben came back and refitted the shelving. Job done. Totally slick from start to finish. Can't praise all these Tradies enough.”

“I can’t rate this company highly enough, they were the only ones out of all the 24/7 Emergency plumber businesses that I called last Sunday morning that actually answered the phone and said they would send someone as soon as they could, the guy phoned me to tell me what time to expect him and he arrived when he said he would, he was patient with such a small space to work in and was quick and efficient. I forget the name of the guy they sent but he was great, if the company reads this and works out who I am I’m sure they’ll know who they sent out to do the job, please pass on my gratitude. It was the 11th Feb and I phoned about 8:30am, I live in Hikurangi. Highly recommend!”
