“Was told a job would take 1.5 hrs. It took 3.5hrs. Not the tradies fault, there was a wiring issue in the house and in the (quite expensive) part I bought from bunnings. Hourly rate is reasonable, but $650 for the part and labour to replace a bathroom extractor fan seems a bit high. Maybe I'm being difficult or naive, but just a bit disappointed the electrician would not provide an email about the part (after verbal statements) so I could take it to the retailer to seek a discount.”
